Late night collision leaves six injured in Nelspruit, Mpumalanga

Six people were injured late last night when two vehicles collided on the R40 in Riverside in Nelspruit, Mpumalanga.

When ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene, they found that one vehicle had mounted the embankment while the second had come to a stop in the road. Several patients were found walking around on the scene.

Paramedics assessed the patients and found that all six had sustained minor to moderate injuries. Fortunately, no serious injuries were reported on the scene.

The patients were treated for their injuries and thereafter transported to Mediclinic Nelspruit for further treatment.

The exact cause of the collision is not yet known but local authorities were on scene for further investigations.
