M7 Snarl-up leaves 1 dead 4 critically injured, Pinetown

At 19h30 on Wednesday afternoon Netcare 911 paramedics responded to a collision on the M7 at Mosely Park near Pinetown. Reports from the scene indicate that a car was traveling towards Pinetown when it veered across into the Durban bound lane and collided with other vehicles. Exact detail to the incident however will remain a subject for police investigation.

Paramedics arrived at the scene and found that four vehicles were involved in the crash, the injured were still trapped in the twisted frames of their vehicles. The Netcare 911 rescue officer and the fire department used the Jaws of Life to free the injured while medics worked tirelessly to stabilise them.

After the injured were examined it was found that a female tragically died  at the scene while four men were critically injured. The injured were stabilised at the scene before medics transported them to hospital for further care.
