Four injured in three vehicle collision on N1

Four people were lucky to have escaped serious injuries when three vehicles collided with each other on the N1 outbound near Klipheuwel this evening.

Shortly after 7pm paramedics from ER24 and other services were dispatched to the scene. Paramedics that arrived on the scene found one of the vehicles completely ripped apart. Large pieces of debris were lying across the roads’ surface.

Upon assessment, they found that four adults sustained minor to moderate injuries. They were assessed and treated on scene before paramedics from Metro EMS and another service removed them to nearby hospitals.

The exact circumstances surrounding the collision is not yet known.
