A 56-year-old Krugsdorp biker has tragically died in a crash

At approximately 14H09 on Tuesday 16 May 2017, Netcare 911 paramedics responded to reports of a very serious collision on the R28 at the intersection of Viljoen road in.

Upon arrival, paramedics found that a motorbike had collided with the side of a car. The driver of the car was in a stable condition and she was transported by ambulance to a hospital. Tragically the 56-year-old male biker was not as fortunate. The Netcare 911 advanced life support paramedics were first to arrive at the scene and initiated the resuscitation. Despite the efforts of the ambulance and paramedic team, the man succumbed to his injuries.

The relevant documentation concerning the man’s death was completed by Netcare 911 paramedics and handed over to authorities at the scene.

The intersection remained partially closed and police were on scene to investigate the incident.

The local fire department also attended the scene.
