A man believed to be in his late 30’s was found lying next to a road in Delmore Park in Boskburg in the early hours of this morning.
At the time of their arrival, ER24 paramedics found the man had sustained one gunshot wound to his right upper leg, one gunshot wound to his lower abdomen and two stab wounds to the neck.
The man had also sustained significant head injuries as it is believed he was beaten with a panga.
The man was in a critical condition and was transported to Tambo Memorial Hospital for further care.
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
