One woman has been killed and two others injured after the vehicle they were in somehow lost control and rolled on the M13 East Bound near Maytime Kloof on Sunday morning.
Just after 4 am Rescue Care Paramedics responded to the single vehicle accident. On arrival, they found a single vehicle had rolled coming to rest on its side. The front seat passenger had sustained multiple major injuries and showed no signs of life. Unfortunately, there was nothing more paramedics could do and the patient was declared deceased on the scene. Two other occupants of the vehicle had sustained minor injuries and were treated at the scene before being transported to a nearby hospital.
At this stage, the exact cause of the collision is unknown however SAPS were on scene and will be investigating further.
