3 Injured in pile- up on the M7 East Bound at the N2 interchange

Three people are lucky to have escaped serious injuries after four trucks and two cars collided on the M7 East Bound at the N2 interchange on Tuesday evening around 7pm.

Rescue Care Paramedics arrived on the scene to find the roadway blocked by the vehicles. One of the cars was significantly damaged however the three injured had all sustained minor injuries. They were treated on the scene before being transported to nearby hospitals for the further care that they required.

At this stage the exact cause of the collision is unknown however SAPS were on the scene and will be investigating further.
