This afternoon, Thursday 01 June 2017, Netcare 911 paramedics attended to a crash scene involving a delivery motorbike and another vehicle in Koos van der Walt street in Universitas Ridge, Bloemfontein.
Paramedics treated the 63 year old male who had been on the motorbike, he had sustained severe injuries to his leg including several fractures. Pain medication was administered by the Advanced Life Support paramedic in an attempt to relieve some of the victims pain. He was stabilised on scene and was then transported by Netcare 911 to hospital for further assessment and care.
The driver of the other vehicle was not injured in the collision.
