Five people were left injured early this morning when their car rolled on the N1 near the Parys Road in Vanderbijlpark.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene and found the light motor vehicle on the side of the road. The five occupants from the vehicle were found seated around the car.
Upon assessment, paramedics found that all five patients had sustained minor to moderate injuries. Fortunately, no serious or fatal injuries were reported on the scene.
Paramedics treated the patients and thereafter transported them to Sebokeng Provincial Hospital for further treatment.
It is understood that the driver lost control of the vehicle, causing it to roll several times.
Local authorities will be investigating this matter further.
