Boys injured when crashing makeshift go cart on Belladonna Road in Cornubia

Two friends aged 13 & 8 suffered minor injuries after their make shift go cart crashed on Belladonna Road in Cornubia a short while ago.

At approximately 16:15 members of Reaction Unit South Africa were dispatched to the scene after receiving a call from a motorist reporting seeing the two boys lying on the roadside. Upon arrival it was established that the boys had modified a shopping cart and were travelling at high speed down a steep road when they crashed into a concrete barrier. The cart broke into pieces on impact.

Both boys were treated on scene for their injuries.
