KZN: Farm worker killed in front end loader accident on a KZN Midlands farm.

On Wednesday afternoon 26 July 2017, Netcare 911 responded to reports that a farmer worker had sustained severe injuries following an accident on a farm in Kamberg, in the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands area.

Reports from the scene alleged that the victim was a farm worker and he was riding in the bucket section of a front end loader when he accidentally fell out of the bucket and landed in the direct path of the heavy moving machine. The incident and preceding events will form part of a police investigation.
Upon arrival, paramedics discovered that the victim had sustained severe injuries and was in cardiac arrest. Netcare 911 paramedics initiated an Advanced Life Support resuscitation according to protocols, CPR was performed and the man was placed on a ventilator at the scene.
Tragically the 32 year old man succumbed to his injuries. Documentation pertaining to his death was completed by Netcare 911 and handed over to authorities at the scene.

The SAPS were on the scene and were questioning the driver and other bystanders.
