Reaction Unit South Africa is seeking assistance in apprehending a coloured male dressed in a yellow t-shirt, black pants and a black cap.
The suspect robbed 61 year old Pushpa Murugan (pictured) on Todd Street in the Verulam CBD a short while ago. He is known to the victim and is a resident of Mountview – Verulam. Pushpa handed the man a R100 note and asked him to change it for smaller denominations. He took her money and fled. The victim is bound to a wheelchair for the past four years after she was run over.
