Eight injured as taxi crashes into wall in Mobeni

Eight people have been injured after a taxi collided with a wall on South Coast Road just after Grimsby Road in Mobeni on Saturday morning.

Just after 08:30 Rescue Care Paramedics were called to the scene to find that a single taxi had collided with a wall and a company gate. A total of eight people had sustained various injuries and were stabilised on the scene before being transported to nearby hospitals for the further care that they required.

At this stage the exact cause of the collision is unknown however SAPS were on the scene and will be investigating further.
