Limpopo,Bolobedu: Women against crime awareness campaign

The Bolobedu SAPS members have on Friday, 18 August 2017 embarked on a Women Against Crime Awareness Campaign at Ga-Matshwi Village led by the Station Commander Colonel David Mahlaola and accompanied by the Communication Officer, Constable Millicent Mohale, Social Crime Prevention member, Constable Mabulana and three Sector Commanders.

The campaign started with a fun walk from Madumeleng Garage to Matshwi Sports Ground where more than 150 women participated.

The aim of the campaign was to address crimes against women and children in partnership with different stakeholders which includes Community Policing Forums (CPFs), Department of Health, Department of Social Development, Youth Against Crime, Ward Councillor and Indunas.

A total 300 pamphlets containing crime prevention information on Breaking the Silence on Abuse were also distributed among members of the community. #AyihlomeAgainstGBV #ActAgainstAbuse
