A man was left seriously injured this morning when he was knocked off his motorbike by a taxi on the Glenugie Road in Pinetwon, KwaZulu Natal.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene and found the biker lying in the middle of the road a short distance away from his vehicle.
Paramedics assessed the man and found that he had sustained several injuries and was in a serious condition.
The man was immediately treated for his injuries and was provided with advanced life support interventions. Once treated, the man was transported to RK Khan Hospital for urgent treatment.
The driver of the taxi was assessed and found to have escaped injury.
Local authorities were on the scene to investigate the cause of the collision.
