Taxi crashes into stationary vehicle: R102 Verulam

Members of Reaction Unit South Africa were dispatched to the south bound lane of the R102 near the Verulam intersection after receiving reports of a motor vehicle collision a short while ago.

Upon arrival it was established that the driver of the Toyota Hiace taxi was counting his days takings while travelling on the R102 when he collided into the back of a Toyota Tazz that had broken down on the side of the road.

The driver of the Toyota Tazz was attempting to repair his vehicle at the time and suffered minor injuries after his vehicle knocked into him.

Three other occupants of the Toyota Tazz including a 5 year old child as well as the occupants of the taxi were not injured.
