12 children injured during taxi crash in Durban CBD

Thirteen people have been injured including twelve children after a collision at the corner of Stanger Street and Somtseu Road in Durban CBD a short while ago.

Just after 11:30 Rescue Care Paramedics arrived on the scene to find that a taxi and a car had collided in the junction. A total of thirteen people had been injured including twelve children around 10years of age. All of the injured were stabilized on the scene before being transported to nearby hospitals for the further care that they required.

AT this stage the exact cause of the collision is unknown however SAPS were on scene and will be investigating further.
