One person has been killed and approximately fifteen injured on the M4 North Bound before Blue Lagoon Just after 1 pm on Monday.
Rescue Care Paramedics arrived on the scene to find the crumpled remains on the busy highway. One person, a female had been killed whilst approximately fifteen others had sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate. Multiple ambulances were used to treat the injured commuters. Once all of the injured had been stabilized on the scene they were transported to various Durban Hospitals for the further care that they required.
At this stage, the exact cause of the collision is unknown however SAPS were on the scene and will be investigating further.
