Centurion man left critically injured in apparent hit-and-run

A man was left critically injured last night when he was hit by a vehicle in an alleged hit-and-run incident on the R21 in Centurion last night.

ER24 paramedics from the Centurion branch arrived on the scene shortly after 21h00 last night and found the man lying in the middle of the road.

The man was quickly assessed by paramedics and found to have sustained serious injuries to his head and legs, leaving him in a critical condition.

Paramedics treated the man and provided him with several advanced life support procedures. Once treated, the man was transported to Kalafong Provincial Hospital for urgent care.

The vehicle in question was allegedly not found on the scene.

This incident was reported to the local authorities for further investigations.
