Imperial Road Safety and 94.7 Breakfast Team to drive Car Seats for Kids Campaign during Transport Month

Spring has sprung, which means that we are heading closer to Imperial’s annual Car Seats for Kids campaign, taking place during October Transport Month. So, while you spring clean your homes, storage spaces and garages, make sure to dust off your old/used car seats to help us make this year’s campaign bigger and better!

We have once again teamed up with the 94.7 Breakfast team as our media partner, who will aid us in driving awareness about the campaign and encourage their listeners to donate their old and used car seats, to give a child the gift of safety!

As always, we would like to call on you to spread the word, and encourage your friends and family to join in, and drop off their used car seats at selected Renault, Hyundai and KIA dealers in Johannesburg and Pretoria. Alternatively, they can drop them off at Wheel Well at the Brightwater Commons.

The journey to this year’s Car Seats for Kids campaign has been an exciting one from a larger road safety awareness perspective. We recently held a collection drive with MiX FM during July, and as a result of this partnership, we were able to collect over 100 car seats, bringing the total number of car seats collected through the Car Seats for Kids campaign to 8 630 car seats!
