A man, believed to be in his 30s, was killed and another sustained moderate injuries after a bakkie collided with a truck on the R29 in Kinross close to Springs last night.
At approximately 21h30, ER24 paramedics arrived at the scene and found the driver of the bakkie lying halfway out of the vehicle.
Unfortunately, there was nothing paramedics could do to save the man and he was declared dead on the scene.
The passenger of the bakkie, a man believed to be in his 20s, sustained moderate injuries and was transported to Evander Hospital.
The exact circumstances of the incident are not yet known to our paramedics, but the incident will be investigated.
