A man believed to be in his sixties has been killed after a vehicle lost control and rolled into him on the M35 near Folweni just after 10 am this morning.
Rescue Care Paramedics responded to the call just after 10 am to find the vehicle on its roof and the pedestrian in a critical condition. Paramedics worked to try to stabilize the man on scene however his injuries were too severe and the man passed away on the scene. The car driver had sustained moderate injuries and was also stabilized on the scene before being transported to a nearby hospital for the further care that they required.
At this stage, the exact cause of the collision is unknown however SAPS were on the scene and will be investigating further.
