A woman, believed to be 42-year-old, sustained serious injuries after an alleged hit and run this morning on Fakkel street in Silverton.
When ER24 paramedics arrived on scene at 07H56, Tshwane EMS was already in attendance and was busy treating the patient on scene. Upon further assessment, it was found that the woman sustained a possible head injury.
ER24 assisted the woman and along with Tshwane EMS transported her to Botshilu Private hospital for further medical care.
The exact circumstances surrounding the incident are not yet known to our paramedics but authorities were on scene for further investigations.
