Eleven people were left injured late last night when a taxi rolled off the N4 highway in Wonderfontein, Mpumalanga.
ER24 paramedics, along with other services, arrived on the scene at 21h46, finding the taxi lying on its side in a farm some distance off the road. The occupants from the taxi were found lying all around the scene.
Paramedics quickly assessed the patients and found that a total of eleven had sustained injuries ranging from minor to critical.
The patients were immediately treated for their injuries and the critically injured provided with advanced life support interventions.
Once treatment had been completed, paramedics transported the patients to various provincial hospitals for urgent treatment.
The exact details surrounding this incident is not yet known but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
