Five people have been injured after two vehicles collided on the M1 Higginson Highway near Havenside intersection in Chatsworth on Saturday evening.
Just after 7 pm Rescue Care Paramedics responded to the call and found two badly damaged vehicles in the junction. On assessment, it was found that five people had sustained various injuries. Paramedics worked to stabilise them on the scene before being transported to various Hospitals for further care that they required.
At this stage, the exact cause of the collision is unknown however SAPS were on the scene and will be investigating further.
