Six people including children have been injured after the vehicle they were in collided into the rear of a truck on the N3 Durban Bound before Richmond Road offramp.
Just after 06:30 am Rescue Care Paramedics arrived on the scene to find a vehicle had collided into the rear of a truck. More ambulances were dispatched to assist the multiple casualty scenes. A total of six people were then stabilised on the scene before being transported to various Durban Hospitals for the further care that they required. One patient had sustained moderate injuries and was stabilised by Advanced Life Support Paramedics before being transported to a hospital.
At this stage, the exact cause of the collision is unknown however SAPS and RTI were on the scene and will be investigating further.
