Two people were injured early this morning when a light motor vehicle rolled off the R102 in Umgababa in KwaZulu Natal.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene at approximately 08h10 to find the wrecked light motor vehicle on the side of the road. The two occupants, a woman and 6-year-old child, were found outside the vehicle.
Paramedics assessed the patients and found that they had sustained minor to moderate injuries. Fortunately, no-one sustained any serious injuries or fatalities on this scene.
Paramedics treated the patients and thereafter transported them to a nearby private hospital for further care.
The local authorities were on the scene to investigate the cause of this incident.
