Centurion trucks and taxi collide leaving four injured

Four people were left injured this afternoon following a collision between two trucks and a taxi on the R21 east bound before the Olifantsfontein Road intersection in Centurion.

ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene at 14h08 to find all three vehicles in the two right-hand lanes of the highway. Loads of plastic bags, that had been on the back of one of the trucks, was spread across a number of the lanes.

Paramedics assessed ten people found on the scene and found that four had sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate.

The patients were treated for their injuries and were thereafter transported to nearby hospitals for further treatment.

Traffic was heavily affected in the area due to the debris on the highway.

Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
