A 37-year-old man was left critically injured this morning when he was shot during an alleged robbery in Fordsburg.
ER24 paramedics, along with another service, arrived on the scene to find the man lying inside a small shop. Local authorities were already on the scene cordoning off the area.
Paramedics assessed the man and found that he had sustained a gunshot wound to his head, leaving him in a critical condition.
Paramedics treated the man and provided him with advanced life support interventions. Once treated, the man was transported to a nearby private hospital for urgent.
