Mother and child injured in Pinetown Crash

A mother and her teenage son have sustained serious injuries after the single vehicle they were in collided with the barrier on Friday afternoon.

Rescue Care Paramedics responded to the accident on the N3 East Bound near Richmond Road just after 2 pm. On arrival, they found that the vehicle had collided and come to rest on top of the barrier. The mother and son had sustained serious injuries and were stabilised on the scene by Advanced Life Support Paramedics before being transported to a nearby hospital for the further care that they required.

AT this stage the exact cause of the collision is unknown however SAPS were on the scene and will be investigating further.
