Members of Reaction Unit South Africa were dispatched to the R614 in Esnembe – KZN after receiving reports of a motor vehicle collision.
Upon arrival a tractor pulling a trailer was found to have collided into a Toyota Quantum. Eight occupants of the Toyota Quantum sustained mild to moderate injuries. They were treated on scene before being transported to hospital.
Circumstances surrounding the collision could not be established as the driver of the tractor fled the scene.
