British tourists injured in rollover on notorious gravel road towards Walvis Bay

MVA reported on the C14 route approximately 120 kms from Walvis Bay on the way towards Solitaire early Saturday morning. Apparently the driver lost control on this nutorious gravel road resulting in the vehicle veering off the road and overturning. Miraculously all occupants (British nationals) sustained less serious and minor injuries only.

Two of the occupants decided to remain with the vehicle while the other two remaining occupants decided to travel towards Walvis Bay with a good samaritan who assisted them at the scene. They were supposed to meet an ambulance that was dispatched to the scene along the way. On their way to Walvis Bay they came across the significantly damaged ambulance after the ambulance also left the road but fortunately none of the staff were injured.

Later the same day the samaritan came across a third accident (for the day) when returning to Solitaire. No information regarding the latter mentioned crash were received.
