A driver has been injured after the vehicle he was driving somehow lost control and rolled down an embankment on Valley Drive in Savannah Park near Chatsworth this afternoon.
Just after 14:15 Rescue Care Paramedics were called to the serious collision. On their arrival they found the driver entrapped under the wreckage. Immediately Durban Fire Department was dispatched to assist. Once the patient had been freed he was then treated for moderate injuries before being transported by Rescue Care to a nearby hospital for further care.
At this stage, the events leading up to the collision is unknown however SAPS will be investigating.
