Humansdorp Cluster Commander led operations in three station precincts

Eastern Cape: Humansdorp Cluster Commander, Brigadier John Lebok left his office for a day and took charge of an operation that spread over three stations yesterday.

The operation started in St Francis Bay, proceeded to Humansdorp and ended in Jeffrey’s Bay. The two stations, St Francis Bay and Humansdorp had no serious cases reported. At Jeffrey’s Bay, a robbery suspect was nabbed few minutes after the incident, and a stolen cash was recovered.

Brigadier Lebok said: “We left offices to intensify visibility in the streets. We envisaged that Black Friday fever would attract opportunity for criminals, and we had to claim the space from criminals and ensure that shoppers conduct their business in a safer environment”.
