Fifteen commuters were left with injuries ranging from minor to moderate when the minibus taxi they were traveling in overturned this afternoon.
Emergency services arrived on scene to find the minibus lying on its roof occupying the width of the roadway.
The injured were triaged and treated on scene, before being taken to various nearby medical facilities for further care.
The cause of the collision is unknown at this stage and will form subject of a South African Police Services investigation.
Traffic was severely affected and the necessary authorities were on scene to assist.
