Five people sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate after a taxi and a vehicle collided on the corner of Durban and Voortrekker road in Bellville this morning.
When ER24 arrived on the scene at 07H45, the patients were sitting in the middle section of the road. Upon further assessment, paramedics found four patients with minor injuries and one with moderate injuries.
ER24, as well as Metro, transported the patients to a hospital for further medical care.
The exact circumstances surrounding the incident were not yet known to our paramedics but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
