Three people were injured last night, one of them seriously, when two bakkies collided on the R529 in Letsitele, Limpopo.
ER24 paramedics, along with another service, arrived on the scene to find one of the bakkies lying on its side on the side of the road. The second vehicle was parked just a short distance away.
Upon closer inspection, paramedics discovered that three patients had been involved in the incident.
Paramedics assessed the patients and found that all three had sustained minor to moderate injuries. Fortunately, no serious injuries were found on the scene. Once treated, the patients were transported to various hospitals for further treatment.
The exact cause of the incident is not yet known but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
