At approximately 13H25 on Monday afternoon 22 January 2018, Netcare 911 responded to reports that a pedestrian had been knocked down near to Home Affairs on Albertina Sisulu Road (R24) near to the Nickel Street crossing.
Paramedics from Netcare 911 and others services were on scene and attended to a female who had been struck by a minibus taxi.
Fortunately, the patient, who is in her twenties, was in a stable condition and she was transported by ambulance to a hospital for further assessment and care.
