A drunk driver was arrested after he ploughed into a stationary vehicle during the early parts of this morning.
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa were dispatched to the scene after receiving a call from a member of public reporting the incident. Upon arrival it was established that the driver of a VW Golf 7 had parked his vehicle in the emergency lane and was assisting a relative change two punctured tyres on his VW Polo when the Renault Kwid crashed into the stationary vehicle.
The driver of the Renault Kwid was arrested by Police for driving under the influence of alcohol. No one was injured in the collision.
