A man, believed to be 55 years old, was in a critical condition after he collapsed in a field in Meyerton this morning.
At approximately 08h30, ER24 paramedics arrived at the scene where bystanders were already performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation on the man.
Paramedics took over and he was later airlifted to Union Hospital by the ER24 and One Plan Medical Helicopter for further medical care.
