Two people were injured after the vehicle they were traveling in crashed down an embankment in B Section, Parkgate.
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa were called out to the scene by the public requesting assistance for the injured men. Upon arrival, a Mercedes Benz A200 was found down an embankment. The driver and passenger suffered moderate injuries in the accident. They were treated on scene by paramedics before being transported to hospital.
It is alleged that the vehicle was traveling in the direction of Ipigogo Place when the driver failed to negotiate a bend. The vehicle then crashed down an embankment and stopped metres away from a house.
The occupants of the house were not injured.
