Crime prevention operations held in Uitenhage

Police officials from the Uitenhage Cluster have vowed to keep their streets free from criminal activities by conducting various integrated crime prevention operations as part of Operation Fiela II.

Various role-players formed part of the operations today, 23 March 2018. During a routine roadblock, 60 vehicles were stopped and searched and 14 traffic fines to the value of R13 650-00 were issued. Twelve shops were visited to ensure compliance to the prescripts.
