Municipal Employee Injured in Collision in Phoenix, KZN

Two passengers have sustained injuries in a collision at the Palmview & R102 intersection in Phoenix – KZN a short while ago.

Reaction Officers & Paramedics from Reaction Unit South Africa were called out to the scene at approx 08:10 this morning (Friday). Upon arrival, Officers found that a black VW Polo & a white Toyota Hilux bakkie belonging to the Water & Sanitation Department of the Ethekweni Municipality had collided at the intersection.

A 36-year-old passenger from the VW Polo & a 54-year Municipal employee sustained head & bodily injuries. Both were stabilized on scene & transported to Ghandi Memorial Hospital in Phoenix & Mt Edgecombe Life Hospital respectively.
