Nigel: 1 male shot in a house robbery

Shortly after 11pm Friday night 09 March 2018, Netcare 911 responded to a shooting in Nigel, Springs.

On arrival Netcare 911 paramedics attended to a 50 year old man in a serious condition after he was shot in the abdomen, while the wife only sustained lacerations to the head and the daughter was unharmed. The man was airlifted by Netcare 911 to the nearest hospital for further treatment.

Reports from the scene indicate that this was a house robbing, the number of robbers are unknown. SAPS was on scene to investigate the incident further.
