A pedestrian was injured after she was run over the driver of a Toyota Yaris while attempting to cross Oakford Road near Redcliffe in Verulam yesterday.
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa were called out to the scene by a member of public requesting medical assistance for the injured pedestrian. Upon arrival she was treated for her injuries by medics before being transported to Osindisweni Hospital in a stable condition.
The driver of the Toyota Yaris was not injured however the vehicle was extensively damaged.
