6-Year-Old injured in road crash in Oakford, KwaZulu Natal

A six (6) year old girl sustained moderate injuries after she was run over while attempting to cross Oakford Road in Verulam yesterday afternoon.

Members of Reaction Unit South Africa were called out by the public requesting medical assistance for the injured child. Upon arrival, medics treated the pedestrian for her injuries before transporting her to Osindisweni Hospital. It is alleged that the Toyota Cressida was traveling in the direction of Osindisweni when the child suddenly ran onto the road resulting in her being run over.
