Police continued with a heavy presence in Mthatha doing patrols and enforcing laws.
The police worked with local and provincial and Ksd Municipality Traffic, Ksd law enforcement officers and Stabilisation Team deployed as part of Police Minister’s intervention.
Eighteen (18) taxis were impounded for non compliance to rules of the road. No arrests were made.
No further serious incidents were reported.
