A mother and her small child have sustained moderate injuries after colliding with a truck on the M7 Wakesleigh Road on Monday afternoon.
Just after 3pm Rescue Care Paramedics arrived on the scene to find the mother and child still inside their vehicle. They had sustained moderate injuries and Advanced Life Support Paramedics stabilised them in the vehicle before carefully extricating them and placing them into an awaiting ambulance. They were then transported to a nearby Hospital for the further care that they required.
At this stage the events leading up to the collision is unknown however SAPS were on the scene and will be investigating further.
