Operation Hlasela ensuring safety in Matatiele and Maluti

To pursue the mandate of ensuring community safety, the SAPS management embarked on effective Operation Hlasela, ensuring safety in Matatiele and Maluti.

On their way to Maluti for the Provincial Management Forum (PMF), the management paid visits to different stations in Mount Fletcher Cluster. The visits were meant to look at critical issues relating to Back to Basics, and challenges faced by the members on the ground.

On their arrival this afternoon, 23 April 2018, two (2) groups were formed, of which one conducted Stop and search in Matatiele CBD, and the other group raided shebeens in Maluti, as part of Operation Hlasela.

The operation yielded good results, and the SAPS management will attend the forum in high and positive spirit

The Provincial Management Forum is scheduled to take place from the 24 April to 26 April 2018 at Maluti Civic Centre in Maluti.
