A foetus was found this afternoon in a rubbish dump in Muvhango, Bophelong.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene at 12h44 after they were called by the local authorities for medical assistance.
Upon arrival, officers lead the paramedics into the dump where the body was found.
On assessment, paramedics found the boy of a foetus, a bot, lying amongst the rubbish. Unfortunately, nothing more could be done by paramedics.
It is understood that a man had been digging through the rubbish when he came across the body.
Local authorities will be investigating this matter further.
